Contemplating best P2V solution |

At the moment I am thinking about the best p2v solution. There are a lot of people offering one click solutions for P2V, so there are a few to choose from. I have looked at a number of them and my thoughts are pushing towards platespin at this point in time. The benefit I see from the one click solutions is the ability to do more than just P2V. P2P, and V2P could come in handy for those physical servers that need hardware upgrades, or for those vm's you want to become physical for whatever reason.
Some of the products that I have investigated include Acronis's new one, platespin and hardware vendor solutions for their own hardware. Has anyone got any experience they want to share in the forums or by contacting me regarding the P2V solution they use ? I would love to hear it. |

VCP on ESX 2.x exam discontinued |

VMware has announced that they will be discontinuing the VCP exam for ESX 2 and VirtualCenter 1 as of the 31st of December 2006. This does not mean that people certified on this will lose the certification. The certification remains valid!
