The VI3 exam is _base_d on V3.0.
However the policy is that if there are features released in later versions of the product that make exam questions ambiguous then the question is retired.

In terms of passing the exam the course is a major part of the preparation, but you also need to be familiar with the Install and Upgrade guide, the Server Config guide and the Basic System Admin guide.

The things I noticed in the exam and haven't covered well in the course was SCSI bus sharing. I also advise students to read up on the capabilities of the Virtual Centre built in groups.

My experience of the exam is that you need to read the questions carefully and take your time.
