G'day all you Victorian VMers.

I hear that there are some VMware user groups starting up in australia. Does anyone know of one going in melbourne yet? Or even just a virtualisation user group?

Hi and welcome to the site.

I will ask my contact at VMware for you and find out if there is one or one in the planning and let you know!

It looks as if VMware is currently in the process of trying to organise a user group for both Brisbane and Melbourne. There are three main points to note with this.

The person who hosts it, a vmware client must have a room large enough to hold at least 20 people.

VMware will do all the registrations and the invites.

Vmware can provide a technical rep to answer any questions.

If you are interested in hosting the event, let me know and I will put you in touch with the right person to help you organise it.

We would be able to book a room for 20 -30 people in our site in Mulgrave.
