ESX on Workstation 6 1 Year, 3 Months ago Karma: 0  
Hi I had installed ESX 3.0.2 on Workstation 6 as per the doco on http://www.xtravirt.com and as soon as the ESX boots up after install, the CPU gets maxed out to 100%. The computer is a fully decked out HP workstation 6200 with 2 GB ram, Xeon 3.4 GHz CPU, RAID 0 stripped disks.

Can someone shed some light on this issue as the machine is totally unusable. thanx. Ron.

Hi Ron

Is the MOBO intel virtualisation compliant if so enable it and work station can hook in the VT.
If not its a new MOBO sorry.
